#330 12" half ball
#280 column base
Other Items Needed:
6 - 80lb bags of ready mix concrete
(to complete pond only)
rebar for reinforcement in pond
thinset mortar

Select the best location for your new fountain.  Place each of your precast stones in place to see how it will look.
Excavate the soil 4" deep.  Place steel reinforcement in the center of the excavation.
Use spray paint or flower to mark the perimeter.
Mix 5 to 6 80lb bags of ready mix concrete for your pond base
Use thin set mortar to attach the curbing to the pond base and to join each curb section.  Clean the joints with a damp sponge.
Pour mixed concrete into your pond base, then smooth the top to a flat and level surface.
To place the pump under the pedestal you will need to elivate the bottom of the pedestal on top of 2 bricks and pass the water tube up through the hole in the windsor pedestal base.
Complete the assembly of the pedestal using thinset mortar in between all segments.  Use a level to verify the work is plumb.
Mortar the column base on top of the pedestal.
Mortar the Shell Planter on top of the column base.  Cut the excess off the fountain tube and mortar it in place.

Mortar around the pedestal base covering the brick support on 3 sides.

Apply a concrete sealant to the fountain in a couple of days.  Fill with water once dry.
